Course fees
The cost of the Advanced Bodyguard training, Close Protection training, VIP Protection training course is £1'500 GBP (+ VAT at 17.5% £262.50) total fee is £1'762.50.
A deposit of £500 GBP per person is required for all individual bookings.
This advanced Bodyguard training, Close Protection training, VIP Protection training course, is deal for persons who:
> Have completed another course but have not had specific advanced training in driving, weapons and team leader skills.
> Having not been trained and developed in these essential skills, is having difficulty in securing appropriate employment.
Note, these advanced skill areas are where most operational teams have their most common development needs highlighted , i.e. when attacked whilst mobile and not reacting with appropriate procedures seamlessly, also when using weapons in a CP role and faced with unusual / unexpected scenarios. All of these scenarios are different to conventional law enforcement / infantry operational contexts in which team members have often operated in the past.
This intensive full 10-day course covers the following areas:
- Advanced anti-ambush driving module. Dealing with road blocks, suicide bomber attacks, ambush evasion and advanced anti-ambush drills.
- Advanced firearms and tactical training module (in Prague). Includes 9mm pistols, 5.56 and 7.62 foreign weapons acquaintance. Also includes the deployment of weapons from covert and overt positions, the use of smoke and mutual fire support / fire and movement in an ambush.
- Leadership and Team-building skills
- Stress Management techniques
We have also included a Team Leader module, which includes:
- Planning and execution of individual and team Close Protection, Bodyguard duties
- Searching activities - (persons, venues, vehicles (ground, sea and air)
- Securing operation (tagging systems and other "deterrent" actions)
- Reconnaissance activities
- Residential Security Team activities
- Threat assessment, risk reduction skill sets
The 10-day Advanced Bodyguard training, Close Protection training, VIP Protection training course runs simultaneously within the final phase (driving training, overseas deployment & firearms modules) of the 3-week international Bodyguard, VIP Protection, Close Protection Officer Training course. Candidates for the Advanced Bodyguard Course will work closely with the Counter Threat Group Trainers whilst deployed overseas, conducting all exercises and scenarios, in the role of TL (Team Leader) for their further development.
To be eligible for the 10 Day Advanced bodyguard Training Course, a candidates must:

- Have attained a full UK SIA Close Protection Officer licence, after having either attended a recognised full international Bodyguard Training course with an alternate provider (at our discretion)
Or,
- Have served with a recognised Special Forces, Law Enforcement or related role (at our discretion)

The cost of the Advanced Bodyguard Training Course is £1'500 GBP (+ VAT at 17.5% £262.50) total fee is £1'762.50.
A deposit of £500 GBP per person is required for all individual bookings. The deposit is non-refundable.
There is also the option of including the Advanced Course modules, with (at the same time as) your basic 3-week CP Course. A reduction in fees for the Advanced Course of £500 if offered to candidates wishing to combine both the 3-week and Advanced Course. This is a popular option for candidates from overseas who wish to avoid having to take additional time to travel to the UK to attend both courses separately.
The course fee includes all training, assessments, certifications, equipment use, accommodation, food, travel from UK to Prague for firearms module, all range use, ammunition and the full driving training package.
