Uniformed Guard Training

In this day and age you need to have one hundred percent trust in the security company you work with.

All Katana Security Officers have been through high level vetting service and comply with the United Kingdom SIA (Security Industry Authority), also United States Department of State requirements for vetting and training.

All Katana Security Officers work to the British Standards Code of Practice 7499:2007.

Every Officer has been trained in:

  • First Aid
  • Security Patrols
  • Physical Security
  • Access and egress control
  • Use of CCTV and electronic security aids
  • Fire, IED and Bomb Awareness to UN standards
  • Reporting of incident to management and clients as per agreed protocols
  • Conflict management, including dealing with violence in the commercial sector
  • Liaison with PSG and QSecure (partner companies) where required for Specialist Security (PSG) and Concierge (QSecure) needs of the client
  • Arrest, restraint, physical interventions and use (where appropriate) of baton, hand cuff, CS spray, non lethal and firearms (including deadly force)
  • With continual training, our Officers provide a valuable front line support service. You can be sure that your premises will be secure and protected.
